

Assign
Once an issue is raised it needs to be directed to the right department to fix it before allocating to a team member.
Orizo takes care of the departmental allocation as each fault is assigned a department when the platform is configured for your college.
There’s no limit to the number of departments you can have. Some colleges have a general maintenance department and then add Cleaning, IT, Gardening etc. – as simple or as complex as you like.

Each department has a one or more managers, who have access to the main Job Assign page within the app.
Typically, this is done on a laptop or desktop computer to take advantage of a larger screen size.

The Job Assign page has three panes:
Pane 1: Job List
Shows current jobs including those that haven’t been actioned and jobs-in-progress. Simple filters make it easy to find the relevant jobs.

Pane 2: Job Detail
Displays the activity stream, or history, associated with the job.
Click on the right dot. to reveal a list of comments relating to the job.

Pane 3: Allocate Workers
A list of maintenance workers that are available (either now or in the future).
This list can include external contractors and internal staff delegated to fix various issues.

To allocate a job simply:

Highlight the job
-
Select a worker
-
Click Assign
It’s that simple.
