Orizo for schools
Orizo was originally designed for university colleges.
But while we were building it we realised it would be perfect for schools too.
So we made Orizo very flexible, to allow it to simply be configured for schools.
Whether it's independent or government, primary or secondary - Orizo can offer significant benefits in digitally transforming your maintenance; allowing teachers to focus on learning outcomes.

Reporting maintenance problems is typically performed by teachers and support staff.
Each school can extend reporting to include prefects, house captains or other student leaders.
Each group can be given different permissions to control what can be reported.
Routine tasks can easily be generated and scheduled to re-occur at specified intervals, ensuring that Orizo contains all the regular maintenance activity - not just the repairs.

The school can create different departments such as: maintenance, cleaning, IT, grounds. These make it easy for Orizo to direct jobs to the relevant managers and their support team.
Each department manager only sees faults that relate to their area.
Managers, quickly allocate jobs to the available workforce - with complete auditability and tracking.
Recurring jobs for routine maintenance can be automatically assigned to a specific person or manually allocated on a job-by-job basis.

As issues are resolved, the person responsible can immediately accept the task, report completion or indicate via comments that more help is needed.
The originator, typically the teacher is keep informed. No more emails, phone or text messages. The notifications are all Android and Apple smart phone-based, making it simple and convenient to stay across issues.
If things are more complex to resolve, Orizo's comments feature will allow staff and managers to chat - to identify problems and pass on vital feedback - all within the job itself.

Reporting in Orizo makes it easy to demonstrate departmental efficiency and ensure resources are optimally deployed.

At the end of term or the academic year, audits of the classrooms and other facilities can be conducted.
These audits can be manually created or automatically scheduled.
On receipt of an audit job, a team member will be presented with an in-app checklist to be applied against the room.
As faults are identified - new jobs will be created by the auditor for resolution by the relevant department.

From time-to-time, teachers may require access to specific resources such as specialised equipment, motor vehicles or other assets not normally assigned to them.
Orizo makes requesting, authorising and fulfilling these requests a breeze.
In addition to allocating these resources, Orizo takes care of the collection task - simply specify how long the resource is required for in the request and a collection task can be scheduled automatically.

Pricing is based on the number of classrooms plus the number of accommodation (boarding) rooms at the school. Other rooms such as halls, gyms, libraries and kitchens are not included in the total room count.
